The South African Armwrestling Federation (SAAF) is dedicated to the growth of the sport of armwrestling within the Republic of South Africa. Our primary aim is to achieve mainstream recognition of this inclusive strength sport, organising of the highest standard of competitions and promotion of this "Sport of Choice" in Africa.
The World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) and the Africa Federation of Armwrestling (AFA) recognises the South Africa Armwrestling Federation (SAAF) as the only affiliated WAF federation in South Africa and shall not recognise any other organisation and/or federation that seeks to unilaterally and/or independently associate with WAF.
Under association with Body Building South Africa, SAAF is the only official member of South Africa Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).
